Every Child is an Artist lrI was fortunately given some acetate recently, and have experimented with lettering in my afterschool marker class. I’ve grown to have a new appreciation for tracing, just as the beginning of a work of art. Students here traced the shapes of a preprinted quote, but then added their own patterns and designs. Just the quiet focus of the room when the tracing begins tells you that their concentration is at work, which is a pleasure to behold
